1. Program Description
DBBuilder Corp ("DBBuilder," "we," "us," or "our") sends SMS text messages to users who have explicitly opted in for the following purposes:
- Account verification and security codes: One-time passwords (OTPs) and verification codes sent during account registration, login, and password reset flows on dbbuilder.ai;
- Account alerts and notifications: Transactional messages about your DBBuilder account activity, such as new login alerts, export completions, and security events;
- Following up on a contact form submission or project inquiry;
- Coordinating scheduling for discovery calls or project kickoffs;
- Delivering time-sensitive project or account notifications;
- Responding to messages you initiate via text.
Consent to receive SMS communications is not a condition of engaging our services.
2. How to Opt In
You may opt in to SMS communications from DBBuilder by:
- Account registration: During account creation on dbbuilder.ai, you will be presented with the following consent checkbox (unchecked by default — you must actively check it to proceed): "I agree to receive SMS notifications including verification codes and account alerts from DBBuilder.ai. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time."
- Providing your mobile phone number in our contact form and not opting out;
- Providing your mobile phone number in writing during a project engagement;
- Texting us directly and initiating an SMS conversation.
By providing your phone number and checking the consent box, you consent to receive text messages from DBBuilder Corp at the number you provided.
3. How to Opt Out
You can opt out of SMS communications at any time by replying STOP to any text message you receive from us. After receiving your STOP request, we will send one final confirmation message and will not send further SMS messages to your number, except in response to a new opt-in from you.
You may also opt out by contacting us at [email protected] or by using our Contact Form.
4. Help
To receive help information, reply HELP to any text message from us. You may also contact us at [email protected].
5. Message Frequency
Message frequency varies depending on your use of the DBBuilder platform. Verification codes and OTPs are sent on demand when you initiate account actions (registration, login, password reset). Account alert messages are sent as relevant account events occur. You will not receive unsolicited bulk or promotional SMS messages through this program.
6. Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply. DBBuilder does not charge for SMS messages on our end, but standard messaging rates charged by your mobile carrier may apply. Contact your carrier for details about your plan.
7. Supported Carriers
SMS messages are delivered via major U.S. carriers including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, and others. Carrier support may vary. DBBuilder is not liable for delays or failures in SMS delivery caused by carriers or network conditions.
8. Privacy of SMS Communications
Phone numbers and the content of SMS communications are handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not share your mobile number with third parties for their marketing purposes. SMS content is used solely for the purposes described in Section 1 above.
9. Applicable Law and Compliance
Our SMS communications comply with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), the CAN-SPAM Act, applicable FCC regulations, and CTIA messaging guidelines. We maintain records of opt-in and opt-out requests in accordance with regulatory requirements.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this SMS Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued receipt of SMS communications after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Policy.
